This artifact satisfies standard 6.4, “Use the results of the measurement for corrective actions, celebration, and continuous improvement” and 7.1, “Commit resources to maintain the solution and the intended results” (International Society for Performance Improvement, 2017. The quality improvement project taught me vital information for improvement and how to apply analytical techniques to a problem. The timing of the Geisel Improvement Academy program lined up well with the needs assessment course taken for the MS degree, which allowed direct application and connection from schoolwork to my job.
