The artifact was created for the AE&T program at Saint Joseph's College is a sample page derived from a MOOC that is a course session to teach adult learners how to learn. It demonstrates an ability to create accessible curriculum using knowledge of learning and metacognitive self-assessment techniques. This artifact was selected for standards 4.3, “Make use of a project plan to manage resources, produce deliverables, and meet deadlines” and 4.4, “Carry out the implementation” (International Society for Performance Improvement, 2017). These standards match since it provides an overview of the objectives, how long the session will take to complete, a preparatory quiz to reinforce learning from previous MOOC sessions, and utilizes technology to deliver and introduce learning tool in self-assessment. This artifact represents some of my best work. As a result of the creation of the artifact, I learned how to create an eLearning session. The session recording had to be short to keep the viewer’s attention but include vital information and hands-on techniques for improving self-assessment techniques. The end of the video gives advice on how to use the tool with questions throughout the video to keep the learner engaged and focused. For improving this session, I could include more information about how this tool is helpful in other venues and how it can be worked into more settings than just assessment after a test, such as using it as a personal tool for success in other assessment techniques.
By the end of the session, learners will be able to:
