This artifact is a presentation of an audit executive summary that was given to course leaders and the curriculum implementation team at the Geisel School of Medicine to promote change in the developing new undergraduate medical school curriculum. The presentation informed stakeholders and curriculum developers of universal design and accessibility needs in the curriculum that wasn’t implemented. This artifact satisfies standard 3.1, “Solicit input from appropriate parties throughout the process including problem or opportunity identification, developmental testing of the solution’s elements, and ongoing evaluation and maintenance” 6.3, “Report the results of the analysis to appropriate parties” and 7.2, “Use ongoing performance data to improvement elements or the infrastructure” (International Society for Performance Improvement, 2017). The executive summary presentation taught me how to tailor specific items that are important for a predetermined audience. For improvement, I plan to continue updating this presentation with new phases of a project for quality improvement in web accessibility at Geisel.
