We have an exciting fundraiser in store over the next few weeks!
**Key Details:**

2. ** Donate and Share.** We are encouraging every family to share their donation page with 10 people.
3. Our class will earn fun rewards based on how much we raise during the fundraiser. When our class earns a reward that adds some extra awesomeness to our day, I will be sure to let you know!
4. It all comes together with our epic celebration day - the **St. John Brebeuf Boosterthon!**
Our school goal is to raise $30,000 for school Improvements! We can’t do this without everyone’s help! Search for “St. John Brebeuf Boosterthon” to sign up today.

Together, we can help save and improve the lives of nearly 213,000 children!
I am raising funds for Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago because I am dedicated to ensuring the highest-quality care for our kids. In honor of my very close friend Aggie, who has Spina Bifida, we will have a $1 dress-down day here at SJB on May 26th. Aggie will be visiting us on this date, which is her 10th anniversary of coming from the hospital after she was born and had her first of many surgeries the same day.
In addition, after school at 2 pm, we will be having an 80's Dance Marathon Party. This will be a $5 pre-registration event featuring music from the 80's, along with coloring, games, a raffle, food, and more. Activities are still being added.
Plus, as the main attraction, I (Mr. Mertes) will be selling special tickets to pie me in the face. You may buy as many tickets as time will allow. K-8 is welcome. 1 for $5 or 3 for $10. 🥧
All proceeds will go to Lurie's and be directed to their Spina Bifida treatment programs at the hospital. Registration will begin on May 5th through May 22nd.
We have also started a "soft" start to our fundraising efforts. I've decided to stop fighting off kids from "clipping" me, so for a donation to Lurie's, I will wear the clip for the day. We'll see how this goes. See pics below.

Our May the 4th wall is complete. The middle school will be celebrating May 4th by listing what four (4) ideas are the most important to each one of us. Both the staff and students added these to our board. As the date approaches, more will be included, with the final party to occur on the 4th with a prize for all 6-8. See below. 4️⃣
