We will follow the county guidelines of our local school district. We will plan to have a choice to be in-person or remote via video conference/recorded lesson, based on the county guidelines.
When we have our classes online, you can ask for the link to access a class free of charge at jls@sjbetsuin.org .
We are all facing a difficult time, and this difficulty can be especially felt with learning. Before COVID-19, we had the opportunity of having every class at our unique campus in historic Japantown in San Jose. We enjoyed field trips and other cultural events just steps away.
However, because of the coronavirus, many of these things have been taken away from our curriculum. We will follow the county guidelines of our local school district. We will continue remote learning as long as the local school district says. In addition, we will plan to have a choice to be in-person or remote via video conference/recorded lesson, when local schools go back to in-person classes. We will do our best to serve our classes by using technology for remote class, and flexible, hands-on experiences once we go back to campus in-person.
What do you need for the remote learning?
