About Your Directors

Hello! My name is Ms. Edwards, and I am excited to be the new orchestra director at ZWest this year! I attended Ball State University (with Mrs. Brenton!) and graduated in 2022. I previously taught orchestra in Merrillville, IN before making the move to Zionsville. I enjoy reading, drawing, and sewing in my free time. I love spending time with my three cats and turtle! I also have a large collection of houseplants, some of which will be coming with me to live at the school.  

I am looking forward to continuing my teaching career here and can’t wait to see what this year brings!!! 

Hi, I am Mrs. Brenton (Grady)! Different name but the same wacky person. I’ve been teaching since 2020, after I graduated from Ball State University. When I’m not making or listening to music, I enjoy hiking, reading, and cheering on the Colts and Pacers! I have a collection of houseplants, which has grown like crazy this summer!  

I have immensely enjoyed my time teaching at Zionsville West and seeing the students here grow and thrive as musicians and as people. I’ve seen just one set of kids from 5th grade to 8th grade, and I look forward to seeing them all through 8th grade and beyond.
