About me
I'm an Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at Pennsylvania State University. I'm also affiliated with the Larson Transportation Institute at Penn State. My research interests include intelligent transportation systems, trust in technologies, human performance modeling, situation awareness, individual differences, and warning interface design. In particular, my current work focuses on human-vehicle interaction challenges and their implications for designing connected vehicle systems and autonomous vehicle systems. I received my Ph.D. in Industrial and System Engineering from the University at Buffalo in 2017 and a B.S. in Psychology from Zhejiang University in 2011. I'm currently serving as the TG chair for the HFES Human Performance Modeling Technical Group.
I am actively looking for Ph.D. students and undergraduate/master researchers! See more information on the "Prospective students page".
