In September 2013, Zetel Solutions provided an LTE solution for an Automotive Testing Ground. Two LTE base stations (eNodeBs) and a compact EPC unit were deployed to cover the circuit. The system enables the customer to transmit real time testing data from the on-board devices attached to the testing cars to the field control room over high-speed LTE network, but also allows voice communication between the driver and control room. Testing data are then transferred from control room to the nearby back office through FCoE, secure and safe over the private network.
