Simple Fast Cateye MICRO Calibration
The Cateye Wireless Buttons
The Cateye Wireless has five buttons: one button on the top (MODE), one on the front edge facing the cyclist (START/STOP) and 3 buttons on the back.
The LIGHT (yellow button), MENU (white button), and ALL CLEAR (recessed you need a pen to push it) are all on the back.
Calibrating it consists simply of telling the computer the circumference of your wheel.
Using the tire size embossed on the side of your tire, look up your circumference from the table below.

To begin, press the ALL CLEAR button with the tip of a pen.
First you will choose Mph or km/h.
km/h flashes.
To change to Mph, press the MODE (single button on top) and mph will flash.
Press the MENU (white button on back) to save the setting.
Next, set the tire/wheel circumference.
The wheel circumference is displayed with the last digit flashing.
Press the MODE (single button on top) to advance the digit to the desired number.
Then press the START/STOP (the button on front edge facing cyclist) to save the digit and move to the next digit.
Repeat this until you have set all of the digits to your chosen circumference.
Then press the MENU button to save the setting and exit the setup.
Your computer is now calibrated and ready to use. You are ready to ride!
Brief overview of the Cateye Wireless Setup
Just as a brief overwiew, the Cateye Wireless has an intial set up that lets you select your speed units (MPH or KPH) and set your tire circumference. Then it provides a menu to let you modify several other settings. You have just selected your speed unit and set your circumference from the initial set up, and then set your time-of-day clock via the menu.
