Cateye Enduro 8 Calibrate

The Cateye Enduro 8 Calibration is easy.

The Enduro 8 has 3 buttons.

The Mode button Black button on the top of the computer below the display.

The Start/Stop Red Button on the front edge of the computer.

The Set Button, a small gray button on the back of the Cateye Enduro 8.

First Step to Enduro 8 Calibration

Figure out the tire circumference on the bike you are going to put the computer on. Here is a tire size chart

Calibrating the Cateye Enduro 8 Computer

To Start the calibration hold all three buttons down at once for 2 seconds and the screen will go to 888.88. Release the buttons.

km/h will be flashing.

To toggle between km/h and MPH push MODE (black button on the top).

To Choose push the START/STOP (red button on front edge)

210 wheel circumference will now flash. This is the size for 700x23 or 26"x 2.5.

To go to a larger number push the MODE (black button on the top).

To go to a smaller number push the START/STOP (red button on front edge).

To Choose the number that is flashing push the SET (grey button on the back).

Your Cateye Enduro 8 is now Calibrated for your Wheel size.

Setting the time on your Cateye Enduro 8.

Click on the MODE (black button on the top) until you get to Tm.

Hold the MODE (black button on the top) down for two seconds and the clock will show.

Hold down the SET (grey button on the back) for two seconds and the hour will flash.

Adjust the hour by pushing the MODE (black button on the top).

Choose the hour by pushing the START/STOP (red button on front edge).

Adjust the minutes by pushing the MODE (black button on the top).

Choose the time by pushing the SET (grey button on the back).

Your Cateye Enduro 8 time is now set. Wasn't that Easy?

Other Cateye Enduro 8 Options

Two Resettable distance features on the Enduro 8.

This is really handy. The Distance 1 (Dst 1) you can reset every day and the Dst 2 you can resest every week or month. The ODO function only resets if you reset the computer or replace the batteries.

Toggle between Dst 1 and Dst2.

click MODE (black button on the top) to Dst 1. Hold down the MODE (black button on the top) for two seconds to get to Dst 2.

Reset your Dst 1

Toggle to Dst 1. Push and Hold the MODE (black button on the top)and START/STOP (red button on front edge) button for two seconds to reset the Dst 1, Av, MX, Tm that are associated with DST1 displayed. This will not affect the numbers in your Dst 2 register.

Reset your Dst 2

Toggle to Dst 2. Hold the MODE (black button on the top) and START/STOP (red button on front edge) for two Seconds to reset the Dst 2, Av, Mx, Tm that are associated with Dst 2.

Toggle to Dst 2. Hold down the MODE (black button on the top)and START/STOP (red button on front edge) at the same time for two seconds.

Two Wheel size settings for the Cateye Enduro 8

You can use the Cateye Enduro Eight on two different bikes with different wheel diameters.

To Toggle between the two wheel settings go to ODO and hold the START/STOP (red button on front edge) and the MODE (black button on the top) down for two seconds. It will then toggle to "B".

Setting the "B" Wheel size.

Go to the "B" MODE (black button on the top). Click to ODO.

Push the SET (grey button on the back) down for 2 seconds and the "B" setting will flash. Push the MODE (black button on the top) to go to a larger number and push the START/STOP (red button on front edge) stop to go to a smaller number. Push the Set button to choose the wheel diameter number for the "B" setting.
