There is a sense in which we all live in two worlds.
Thus we have the source domain of SYMBOL LIFE and thought that may get mapped to the destination range of physical biology with human activities of the geography surface of EARTH.
Thus we see a message relationship between Nature's SYMBOL MACHINE and humans. Nature's INTELLECT and its stream of consciousness can send messages that are subsets of a larger printed document. The serious and well-read math and science researcher can learn to recognize some of these basic signals and their purpose.
The study of this message processing system architecture of Nature has advanced in recent years .... and in year 2014 a basic outline of the system exists. But more work needs to be done.
