30 December 2025 Update
It is true that the aircraft in YS Flight turn very well - attaining 12 to 15gs sometimes. This is not a real world case. This time, however, I used ChatGPT to help make the performance of the aircraft more like the real life counterparts.
The Mig -21 and PANAVIA Tornardo were taken as examples. In the case of the Mig -21, maximum g loading was stated as 8g and that of the Tornado, 7g. Clearly, the flight model had to be adjusted to limit the g values. This was done by changing the following parameters, which made combat much easier for the Mig-21, since in any case I try not to exceed 9g in combat as this is the maximum limit for pilots. The other aircraft, however, had no such limitations and would turn tighter and win.

These are the final values that have the Mig 21 exhibiting a sustained turn rate of about 3g at 200 kt and 5g at 300kt

The standard aircraft in YSFlight turn well, they turn too well. A case in point is the F-16 that can manage 13g at 200 knots, beyond the capabilities of its real life counterpart aerodynamically and structural and also beyond the limit of the pilot. Lets us assume so for now.
The easisest correction for this is the changing of the "Landing Speed" parameter in the .dat (configuration file). Several aircraft have been revised and tested for turn rates at different speeds: sustained and instantaneous. It is reported that the YSFlight flight model has been optimized for a certain altitude, and does not take altitude changes into effect.
