 ABOUT 

The Red Intellect  is an allegorical treatise on creation, cosmology, and the human journey.  Composed nine centuries ago by the visionary Sohrevardi (known as the 'Master of Illumination'), it is regarded as a masterwork of mysticism.

We will read the text in translation; through guided discussion, we will explore in depth the possible meanings and messages within the symbolism.

The discussion will be in English; no knowledge of Farsi/Persian is required.
