I can't say good enough things about Young Living oils. My son had a strep throat. Over-the-counter medications he asked for did not relieve the pain, and he agreed to use the essential oils. In a few days strep was history.
For laryngitis put a drop of Thieves essential oil under your tongue to restore your voice.
For a sore throat Daniel Penoel suggests diluting 4 drops of tea tree oil with one tablespoon of honey. “Take an amount about the size of a pea. With a large toothpick or chop stick, then suck on it. Essential oil of Melaleuca alternafiola does not cause irritation and can be mixed directly into the honey.
If I ever get a sore throat, I just put 1 drop of Thieves on the outside of my throat, on my tongue, and my feet. Cloves in Thieves numbs and kills germs instantly. Other oils, like Cinnamon, are very powerful against germs.
My son uses Thieves spray, a spray of bee propolis with licorice, echinacea, goldenseal, and homeopathic remedy for sore throat. Bee propolis, mixed with licorice, sticks to your throat and coats it, helping the pain.
Not to forget to eat light and cleanse.
