Hello. I am Associate Professor of Marketing (tenured) at the School of Business and Technology Management, College of Business, KAIST. Before joining KAIST, I was on the faculty of the Marketing Department at the School of Business and Management, HKUST.
I received my PhD in Marketing (minor in Social and Decision Science) from the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University in 2013.
My research focuses on consumer behavior and decision making, with an emphasis on health-related issues and emerging technologies. My research has been published in top-tier academic journals, including Science, Psychological Science, Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Marketing, and Journal of Consumer Psychology, and reported by major news organizations, such as New York Times, NPR, ABC News, BBC, Wall Street Journal and Time. I am on the editorial review board of Journal of Consumer Research.
I have taught various marketing courses, including Marketing for High-Tech Companies, Consumer Behavior, Promotion and Advertising Management, Theory of Consumer Behavior and Decision Making, and New Product Development, to undergraduate, master, PhD students and practicing managers.
