April 19, 1999 - per NPS Morning Report - car into river on Highway 140 six miles west of the Park - victim stranded on roof of car - guy relieveing himself at side of road heard victim calling for help - Rescue + Engine + Ambulance responded from El Portal NPS - County ladder truck also responded and assisted in a successful rescue
?7/10/98 - NPS Morning Report - possible new law to do land swap concerning trailer park on NPS administrative site just outside park boundaries at El Portal
?7/25/98 NPS Morning Report - helo is used for medevacs
June 5, 1999 10PM - per 6/14/99 NPS Morning Reports - El Portal trailer home fire got El Portal NPS, Valley NPS, and County fire units. Units were at the scene in 5 minutes.
July 10, 1999 - The Modesto Bee - M Scott Connelly was sentenced to one year of prison for multiple charges involving paying teenagers to come to his Fresno home for sex - mostly runaways were targeted - charges were plea bargained to reduce embarassment to the victims - M Scott Connelly was serving as the prosecuting Ranger in the Yosemite Magistrates office at the tome of his arrest on 7/31/98 - his release is imminent due to time served in solitary confinement.

Wawona - Engine 4 structure, Engine 32 wildland, Water tender 24
El Portal - Engine 1 structure, Engine 34 county, Engine 31 wildland, Rescue 1
Yosemite Valley - Engines 3 and 5 structure, Engine 45 wildland
Hodgdon Engine 8 structure, Engine 33 wildland
Crane Flat - Helicopter 551 wildland EMS, SAR, mid may to mid october
Engine 34 is a cooperative engine with Mariposa County.
