Sadly we have lost our very Special Member, Bob Ashworth who passed away Friday 16th May 2025 in the York Hospital.  He will be greatly missed by our Club but then we had many happy years of his presents and help at the Club and his cheery "when is it going to rain"???  Hopefully Bob you can now send it down to us!!

Bob's family would like us to form a guard of honour at his funeral at a later date and I will keep you informed of this later on. 

Rest peacefully Bob we all loved you.

As you all know it will be Bob Ashworth's funeral tomorrow, Tuesday (27th May,) afternoon at 2p.m. If you wish to join in, for the Guard of Honour, please be at the front entrance gate at 1.45 p.m.and wear your Club shirt, if you have one, or come as you are, bring your mallet and join us, in respect to Bob. We will follow the procession as a group and then form a Guard of Honour from the hearse to the graveside, as requested by Pam, holding our mallets up in respect.
