The presentations about their projects made by individual researchers in partial fulfillment of the requirements of ENGG341 have ranged over the years and in the face of the Covid pandemic to include both a comprehensive final written report and one or two forms from among
a closed oral presentation before a review panel,
an interactive poster presentation in a public poster session, and
a video presentation archived in a public forum such as Youtube.
The most useful form is a video presentation, which can be simply a recording of a closed oral presentation or a full modern production using displays with animation, voice narration, video editing with annotations and questions answered added in post.
Review of the presentations is usually made independently by the project supervisor and one other member of academic staff, either in consultation or completely separately. Their reviews must agree quantitatively to within 10%.
