To produce your Gantt chart you can use different resources. Microsoft Excel and Project are the software recommended due to their simplicity to use.
Project.
It is a program from the Microsoft Office family specifically designed for project management. It can be installed from 'Install University Applications' app inside the 'Office' tab.
Once it is installed, open a 'New blank project'. Here you can input new tasks and milestones if you click on the respective buttons located on the top bar called 'Task'.
You can edit each task to define the duration, percentage accomplished, and other different options that you want. (This is optional).
Excel.
You can use this well-known option as a Gantt chart if you go to the 'New' option located in the 'File' tab. You can find a template called 'Gantt project planner' or you can type on the search bar 'Gantt chart' and on the results, you will find different designs. Choose the one you like and click on 'Create'.
You can start editing this template according to your tasks and milestones for your individual project. This chart on Excel provides fewer options than Project but still is useful.
