President Bridget Lucey

Bridget is a junior pursuing B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering and plans to graduate in the Spring of 2025. Prior to her attendance at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Bridget graduated from Saint Ignatius College Prep in 2020 and pledged for Chi Epsilon in Spring 2023. During her free time, Bridget enjoys going to the beach, hiking and spending time with friends.

Interesting fact:  I studied French abroad in Paris for a semester. 

Role of the President:  The President is responsible for the general supervision of all of the activities of the chapter, and presides at all meetings. 

Vice President – Cara de León

Cara is a Junior pursuing a B.S. in Civil and Environmental engineering. She plans to graduate in Spring 2025.  She is a 2020 Mid-Pacific Institute graduate and pledged for Chi Epsilon in Spring 2023. Cara did an internship for C&C for stormwater quality division with the department of facility maintenance, she enjoys hiking, singing, and playing guitar. She can also be spotted in the gym becoming one with the iron.

Interesting fact:  My name (Cara de León) means ‘face of lion’ or ‘lion face’ in Spanish.  

Role of the Vice President:  The Vice-President, in the absence or disability of the President, assumes the duties of the President.  Also, upon resignation or death of the President, the Vice President shall become the President.

Treasurer – Aaryk Iwamoto

Aaryk is a junior pursuing a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering and plans to graduate in the Spring of 2025. Prior to his attendance at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Aaryk graduated from Hanalani Schools in 2021. He pledged for Chi Epsilon in Fall 2023. During his free time, Aaryk likes to watch movies and shows as well as balling on the basketball court with his homies.

Role of the Treasurer:  The Treasurer collects all fees, assessments, and all other money forthcoming to the chapter and acts as custodian thereof, keeps appropriate books and reports on finances of the chapter at each meeting; and audits, with the Faculty Advisor and the incoming Treasurer.

Secretary – Madison Nakahodo

Madison is a senior pursuing a B.S. in Civil and Environmental engineering and plans to graduate in Spring 2024. Prior to her attendance at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Madison graduated from Aiea High School in 2020 and pledged for Chi Epsilon in Fall 2023. During her free time, Madison likes to demolish her opponents in tennis and listen to music.

Interesting Fact:  I have three older brothers.  

Role of the Secretary:  The Secretary handles and keeps a record of all transactions, business, and correspondence; keeps minutes of the chapter meetings which are presented to the chapter at the next meeting; maintains an active file of all members, addresses, and pertinent information; and informs all members of activities of the chapter.

Marshal – Ashley Almond

Ashley is a Senior pursuing a B.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering and plans to graduate in Spring 2024. Prior to her attendance at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Ashley graduated from East Nicolaus High School in 2018 and pledged to Chi Epsilon in Fall 2022. Ashley is currently working at WJE inc. as an engineering intern. In her free time, Ashley enjoys hanging out with friends, destroying her competition in indoor and beach volleyball, and outdoor activities.

President Snow

Interesting fact: My last name is Almond and I live in an almond orchard.  

Role of the Marshal:  The Marshal arranges and directs all chapter initiations and ritual ceremonies, instructs the members in their parts, and acts as program chairman for all chapter functions other than business meetings. They are also in charge of administering the pledge program during the semester.

Assistant Marshal – Kylie Trang

Kylie is a junior pursing a B.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering and plans to graduate in Spring 2025. Prior to her attendance at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, she graduated from Hawaii Baptist Academy in 2021 and pledged for Chi Epsilon in Fall 2023. In her free time, Kylie likes to sling iron at the gym to chase her goal of becoming a mass monster and play with her dog.

Role of the Assistant Marshall:  The Assistant Marshal aids the Marshal in the duties required. He acts as the point of contact for pledges to aid them in completing the pledge project.

Editor of the Transit – Jayden Young

Jayden is a junior pursuing B.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering and plans to graduate in the Spring of 2026. Prior to his attendance at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, he graduated from Mark Keppel High School in 2020 and pledged for Chi Epsilon in 2023. In his free time, Jayden likes to twist his opponents ankles as he balls on the court with his friends, take pictures, and play video games.

Role of the Editor:  The Editor handles all publicity for the chapter, writing such reports which are required for “The Transit.”
