Learn Traditional Shotokan Karate
Welcome to Thames Valley Shotokan Karate (TVSK). We teach the traditional Japanese martial art of Shotokan Karate in the following areas:
The classes in Burnham, Maidenhead, Windsor and Woodley are run by Richard Hughes (5th Dan) and High Wycombe is run by Richard Wilson (5th Dan) who each have over 30 years experience in martial arts
We teach traditional Shotokan Karate as well as looking at the applications and self-defense derived from Shotokan Kata and techniques, so if you are a beginner, looking to start practicing again or have any questions with regard to your training please contact me using the details on the contact Page.

Karate Practice takes place once a week in the PA (or old School Gym) at Michael's School, High Wycombe.
Karate develops and builds self-discipline, respect and confidence. The exercise and training methods used work all areas of the body and are a perfect aerobic exercise for all ages.
Practice takes place every Saturday during school term time at the following location:
