陳紹箕師父
出生于一九四七年,熱愛舞獅的他在八歲時,參加了新加坡鶴山會舘,并開始了他的舞獅生涯。十二歲時,陳紹箕師父在小獅團裏擔任了獅頭也跟何順大師學習獅藝及擊鼓的技巧。在五十年代時,陳紹箕師父參與養正醒獅團的舞獅活動。一九七二年陳紹箕師父與幾名志同道合知交下,創立了新加坡鶴僑體育會。一九八零年,陳紹箕師父轉投于何公啟成師父門下,并對于獅藝及擊鼓的技巧有更深一層的認識與了解。來到了九十年代,陳紹箕師父在一九九零年受新加坡全國武術總會委任為,新加坡二十五週年銀禧國慶兩百頭醒獅表演中擔任頭號鼓手。在一九九二年陳紹箕師父在新加坡收了來自馬來西亞的郭觀生為徒,并在一九九九年在新加坡收了顏尚斌及饒雲昌為徒。陳紹箕師父在二零零二年受馬來西亞雪隆龍獅聯合會總會委任為,“第一屆國際裁判傳統舞獅訓練班”擔任主要導師。也受馬來西亞雪隆聯合總會委任為該會的獅藝研究組名譽顧問。當年也受新加坡全國武術總會委任為二零零二年獅藝研討會講師。同時,陳紹箕師父在新加坡收了王振源,李肖梁,白建川及劉漢隆四人為徒。在二零零二年馬來西亞主辦世界第二屆龍獅錦標賽,陳紹箕師父受國際龍獅總會之邀率零徒弟,徒孫們現場客串擊鼓表演,並被同好冠與“世界鼓王”的雅號。二零零四年陳紹箕師父為了傳承及發揚沙坪(呂派)獅藝源流,在新加坡成立了沙坪獅藝中心。同年陳紹箕師父在新加坡收了謝永光,林文慶及梁志強三人為徒。兩年后的二零零六年四月在新加坡收了,來自馬來西亞的危耀光為徒。在二零一一年的一月,在新加坡收了來自新加坡的陳慶賢及胡澄淦,台灣的的楊天德及念裕祥及馬來西亞的羅元升為徒。同年的三月,陳紹箕師父在馬來西亞收了胡志強為徒。二零一四年一月,在新加坡收了來自台灣的裴俊強鄧福祥及法屬留尼旺島的余達倫為徒。同年七月,在新加坡再收了來自美國的梁凱琪為徒。二零一五年七月在馬來西亞首都吉隆坡,創立了世界沙坪(呂派)獅藝總會,同時兼任沙坪(呂派)獅藝源流的第三代掌門人,為推廣沙坪 (呂派)獅藝奠定了基石。二零一七年七月收來自澳門的麥旨樑為徒。四月那年,陳師父收來自美國的牛勝為徒。二零一八年七月,來自美國的鄺朗豪拜陳紹箕為師。二零一九四月,菲律賓蔡明仁拜入陳紹箕為師。
陳紹箕師父受多間海內外友好武術,龍獅團體器重并委任為名譽顧問,陳紹箕師父曾到過許多的國家進行表演與交流,例如:馬來西亞,菲律賓,中國,香港,澳門,越南,日本,韓國,台灣,美國,瑞士及法屬留尼旺島等國家。雖活躍于獅藝界已超過一甲子,陳紹箕師父至今并沒有停腳步,依然受到世界各地講課交流,為傳承藝不遺余力。
Grandmaster Chan Siew Kee
Sar Ping Lion Dance Art Grandmaster Chan Siew Kee He was born in 1947, at age 8, he join the Singapore Hok San Association, where he started his lion dance career. At age 12, he became the lion head in a small lion dance group, where he learned under master Ho Soon lion dance and drumming technique. In the 50’s, he joined the Yang Zheng Lion Dance Troupe. In 1972, he co-founded the Hok Kiaw Athletic Association with some of his lion dance friends. In 1980, he was accepted by Ho Kai Seng, from whom he learned the deeper meaning of lion dance and drumming. By the 90’s, year 1990 he was appointed as the head drummer of the 200 lion for the Silver Anniversary of the founding of Singapore by the Singapore National Wushu Federation. In 1992 he accepted Kok Koon Sang of Malaysia as disciple. In 1999 he accepted Singaporean Peter Ngan and Hiew Yun Cheong as disciple. In 2002 he was appointed by the Malaysia Selangor & FT Dragon and Lion Dance Federation as a teacher during the “First International Traditional Lion Dance Judge Seminar”. He was also appointed by the Malaysia Selangor & FT Dragon and Lion Dance Federation as the Lion Dance Research Committee Honorary Adviser. That same year he was appointed by the Singapore National Wushu Federation as lion dance seminar speaker. The same time, he accepted Ong Chin Guan, Alvin Lee, Jason Pee and Joseph Low in Singapore as disciple. In 2002 during the 2nd World Lion Dance Championship in Malaysia, he was invited to perform the 18 Route Drum with his disciple and grand disciples, where he earned the name King Of Drum. In 2004, to promote he established the Sar Ping Lion Dance Art Center. Same year, he accept a new batch of disciples namely Francis Chia, Nicolas Neo and Jerry Lim. After two year he accepted Daniel Ngai of Malaysia as his disciple. Year 2011, he accepted a batch of disciples namely Jeffrey Tan of Singapore, Yang Tiante , Nian Yu Xiang both of Taiwan, Kim Aw of Singapore and Ben Lo of Malaysia. After a few months he accepted Frankie Woo of Malaysia as disciple. 2014 he accepted Pei Chun Chiang, Teng Fu Hsiang of Taiwan and Didier Ah Waye of Reunion Island as disciples. Same year he accepted Eva Luong of USA and his lone female disciple. In 2017 he accepted Mak Chi Leong of Macau as his disciple. A few months later, he accepted Nelson Ferreria of USA as his disciple. In 2018 he accepted another USA disciple in the person of Alan Kuang. In April of 2019 he accepted Arnold Buenviaje as his Philippine disciple.
Grandmaster Chan Siew Kee was appointed by several organizations here and abroad as honorary adviser. He had performed and promulgated Sar Ping Lion Dance in different countries namely Malaysia, Philippines, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam, Japan, Thailand, Korea, Taiwan, America, Switzerland and Reunion Island.
