沙坪獅藝宗師呂新堯 曾師祖
呂新堯宗師,鶴山市共和鎮豐塘村人,自幼好動,練蔡家拳。鶴山獅藝開山鼻祖馮
庚長宗師的入室弟子李怡生宗師(龍口鎮三鳳人)學鶴山獅藝。一九二零年,李怡生宗師南下新加坡于香港街發起和組織新加坡第一隊舞獅隊名稱“怡怡堂瑞獅團“並親自任教,傳授鶴山獅藝。
一九三九,新加坡鶴山同鄉會成立,“怡怡堂瑞獅團” 也即改為“鶴山醒獅團”了。一九四二年二月十五日新加坡淪陷,獅團停止活動。一九四五年抗戰勝利,鶴山獅團也恢復活動後。李怡生宗師的衣缽傳人呂新堯宗師于鶴山同鄉會任教,呂新堯精蔡家拳術,拳技宗嶺南洪佛派,乃新加坡的武林名家子弟。于一九四九年回國定居。徒弟有梁肇富,李文忠,呂耀斌,何啟成等人。
Sar Ping Lion Dance Art Grandmaster Lu Sing Yao ceng shi zu
Grandmaster Lu Sing Yao (Lu Xin Yao), a native of Feng Tang Village, Gong He Town, He Shan City, he active as child and practiced Cai Boxing. Grandmaster Lu Sing Yao was the disciple of Grandmaster Lee Yee Shang (Li Yi Sheng) (native of San Feng, Long Kou Town), grandmaster Lee Yee Shang was a disciple of Grandmaster Feng Geng Chang, the founder of He Shan Lion Art. In 1920, grandmaster Li Yi Sheng went south to Singapore at Hong Kong Street to initiate and organize the first team of Singapore's lion dance team named "Yi Yi Tang Lion Dance Troupe" and personally taught He Shan Lion Art. In 1939, the Singapore Heshan Association was established, and the "Yi Yi Tang Lion Dance Troupe" was changed to the "Hok San (He Shan) Lion Dance Troupe". Singapore fell on February 15, 1942, and the Lion Dance Troupe ceased their activities. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War in 1945, the Hok San Lion Troupe also resumed activities. Grandmaster Lu Sing Yao, the successor of grandmaster Lee Yee Shang, taught at the Hok San Association. Grandmaster Lu Sing Yao was a master of Cai family boxing and a master of the Ling Nan Hung Fu school. He was a disciple of a famous martial arts teacher in Singapore. He returned to settle in China in 1949. His disciples were Leong Siew Foo, Li Wenzhong, Lui Yew Phan, Ho Kai Seng and others.
