Sar Ping Lion Dance Art Grandmaster Ho Kai Seng shi zu
Grandmaster Ho Kai Seng came from China to earn a living in Singapore in 1934 and worked in the printing industry. In 1946, he and a group of brothers joined Lu Sing Yao to learn the He Shan Lion Art. He was good at the cat-like movement passed down by Feng Geng Chang, and he was good at the cat-like resemblance of a lion playing with a ball. His ups and downs acts as if a naughty kitten was teasing a small ball, happy, angry, surprised, happy, suspicious, sleeping, drunk, and waking up, the eight forms were integrated into the form of a lion, just like a real lion playing a ball, and the art of lion dance is brought into full play. He was also the first to propose to reduce the weight of the bulky lion head by half and shorten the length of the lion, and dance the lion to bring the image closer to a real lion. He has also served as the lion art consultant of the lion club and has contributed a lot to the lion dance club.
