Subject: Info on Worcester Room changes
Hi All,
Beginning Friday January 20, please record name and library card number (if applicable) for all patrons requesting items from the Worcester Room or from the clipping files, on the sheet attached to the clipboard at the 3rd floor reference desk, and take ID. Also include title of item (or folder), call number, time retrieved and time returned. This will enable us to monitor these valuable items more closely. Also, after items have been returned by the patron, please bring them directly to the shelving truck located just inside the door of the Worcester Room.
In addition, Alex has created a sign-in sheet for our four dedicated genealogy computers identical to the one used for the career computers on the second floor. From now on, please ask patrons to sign in before handing them a password/ticket.
All in the interest of a much-needed tightening up of security.
Thank you so much for taking on a few added responsibilities.
Joy
