Some basic information for you:
General ILL policies:
-When filling out an ILL request form for a patron please make sure all the fields have been filled out and that writing is as legible as possible
-Patrons are allowed to have four active Interlibrary Loan requests
-Interlibrary Loan items have already been checked out to a patron
-Interlibrary Loan items must be returned to The Welcome Desk
-If a patron wants to renew an ILL item they need to call the ILL office (508-799-1697) but renewals cannot be guaranteed
-If a patron loses an ILL item please have them contact the ILL office
When a patron comes to pick up an ILL item:
-it will show that they have a “WORP-ILL” item in their Evergreen account (which means the item has already been checked out to them)
-You will find the ILL item on a red truck outside the Circulation Supervisor’s office (near where the dvds/cds on hold are kept)
-When you give the item to the patron please remind them of when the item is due and that they must return it to the Welcome Desk
When a patron returns an ILL item:
-Please put the item on the desk in the Circulation Supervisor’s office
