PHASE 3: Celebrations at each school of the 60th anniversary of UNESCO ASPnet.

From September until the final week of November

PHASE I: Publication

-Selection of poems and preparation of students by each teacher.

-Sending the poems chosen by each country and information for publication on the Web. Under supervision of project coordination.

Event 1

March 21, World Poetry Day and World Tree Day (Escola Artística e Profissional “Árvore”, Oporto, Portugal).

Presentation of the project and the website with the poems that were received.

PHASE 2: Comments

Exchange of views and materials about the published poems. This will be a great way to show that each poem is alive and that it contains important values for young people. At the same time, it will be a good opportunity to showcase the work of collaboration between schools involved in the UNESCO-ASP worldwide network.

Event 2

July 3 to 6, 2013, XXVI Meeting of the UNESCO-ASP schools from Spain in Alcoi- Orihuela (Alicante province).

Presentation of the final Web page with poems from around the world and comments.

PHASE 3: Celebrations

Each school will choose a date for a public presentation of the activity, inviting the school community, media and local authorities.

The participating students should be the protagonists of these events, as young ambassadors of the languages and culture of their country to the world.

The National Coordinators should also have an essential role in these events, to show their commitment with the representation and collaboration of their countries in the celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the UNESCO-ASP network.
