The venue is the Banff International Research Station, and we refer to their website for detailed information. Some important highlights are included here:

- Banff Center: BIRS is located in its own buildings (Corbett Hall and TransCanada PipeLines Pavilion) at the Banff Centre, in the beautiful mountain town of Banff, Alberta, Canada. A wealth of information about the centre, the town and the surroundings can be found at the website of the Banff Centre which also provides detailed directions and maps.

- Child care service: there are babysitting services available for participants (covered by BIRS). If interested, please contact us at womap2020@gmail.com.

- Accommodation and meals: accommodation and meals are provided for he period of the conference. Participants of BIRS programmes are housed in Corbett Hall at the Banff Centre. There is a separate bedroom for each participant, though most rooms have a shared bathroom with one other participant. Each room is equipped with a queen size bed, dresser, desk, alarm clock, and coffee maker. A hairdryer is located in the bathroom.
