Sunken Lake Camp is open for booking. All bookings must be made 72 hours (3 days) in advance of the start of the booking. Cancellations and rebookings are according to Scouts Canada's policy (see below).
We are open to bookings by non-scout/non-guide groups, including cadets, youth groups and private third-parties. Contact sunken.ns@scouts.ca for more information on rentals by non-scout/non-guide groups.
All members of all groups renting the camp must be fully vaccinated, as per Scouts Canada's Vaccination Mandate.

2025-2026 rates will be as follows:
Scout groups
Evening rental (5pm - 9pm) $20.00
Day rental (9am - 9pm)
Groups of 1 - 10 people $25.00
Groups of 11 or more people $50.00
Overnight rental (5pm - 4pm next day; so this includes the day use and overnight)
Groups of 1 - 10 people $50.00
Groups of 11 - 20 people $75.00
Groups of 21 or more people $100
Non-scout groups

When booking, be aware of policies on cancellations and refunds. These policies are set and administered by Scouts Canada. In particular,
there are no refunds or rebookings for cancellations less than 2 weeks in advance,
partial refund or credit is possible for cancellations or rebookings 2-4 weeks in advance,
rebookings made more than 4 weeks in advance get full credit (in same fiscal year, September 1st – August 31st).
In the event of any discrepancy between the information on this website and the Scouts Canada policies linked above, the Scouts Canada policies have precedence.

If the camp is not clean (all items on camp checklist complete), there will be a cleaning surcharge of $50/hr, with a minimum 2 hour charge.
Keys must be returned immediately after leaving camp.
As a Scouts Canada camp, we have a no-alcohol policy. For insurance purposes, alcohol must not be consumed on the camp property.

Non-scouting groups and individuals must complete Scouts Canada's Organizational Hold-Harmless and Indemnity Agreement (pdf), and provide a certificate of insurance as described near the bottom of the agreement page (this can be arranged through your insurance company). This certificate of insurance must name Scouts Canada as additional insured on a comprehensive general liability insurance policy in force during the period of use in an amount of not less than $2,000,000.
