I am an economist in the Directorate-General for European Economic and Monetary Policy at Germany's Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Action (Berlin).
I am also a research fellow at the Institute of Economic History of Humboldt-University of Berlin, where Iead a project that quantifies Germany's globalization experience - notably with respect to foreign trade - over the last 150 years.
I teach a class on 'Globalization and Germany' at Stanford University's H.G. Will Centre, Berlin, and a seminar on German economic history at the University of Applied Sciences for Engineering and Economics Berlin (HTW).
I hold a PhD in economics and I am interested in international economics, macroeconomics, EU policy, economic history and data science.
I am also a passionate swimmer.
This is my personal homepage and its contents do not necessarily reflect the view of the ministry.
