I am an economist in the Directorate-General for European Economic Policy of Germany's Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Action (Berlin). Besides that I am a research fellow at the Institute of Economic History of Humboldt-University of Berlin, and I teach a class on 'Globalization and Germany' at Stanford University's campus in Berlin. 

I hold a PhD in economics (non-technical summary in German) and I am interested in international economics, macroeconomics, EU policy, economic history and data science. 

I am also a passionate swimmer and a lifeguard at Plötzensee lido.
