I am an economist in the Directorate-General for Economic Policy at Germany's Federal Ministry of Economics (Berlin). Since 2017, I  have been teaching a class on 'Globalization and Germany' at Stanford University's H.G. Will Centre, Berlin, and a seminar on German economic history at the University of Applied Sciences for Engineering and Economics Berlin (HTW). 

I hold a PhD in economics and I am interested in international economics, macroeconomics, EU policy, economic history and data science. 

I am also a passionate swimmer.
