WNN Media Club

Other Students Watch Videos, We MAKE the videos they watch, and WIN AWARDS!

Because of the number of students who were unable to schedule Media Technology classes due to scheduling conflicts, I have decided to form a Media Club. NHS Students both at NHS and at C-TEC are invited to join us every other Wednesday after school (We meet on opposite weeks from the Drama Club to make it easier for students to participate in both).

Some of the things on our agenda include:

1. Fundraising ideas to finance field trips, etc.

2. Purchasing Jackets and Shirts with the WNN Logo for our staff

3. Stories about academics and the arts for "Newark Schools NOW!"

4. Stories about athletics and sports for "Inside the Wildcat Den"

5. Project Ideas for the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Student Production Awards

6. Joint Projects with the Drama Club.

7. Working with "Anthenaeum" on the NCTE Literary Magazine Competition

8. Videos for the scoreboard in the gym to be used during basketball games

9. Videos for the new scoreboard at White Field to be used during football games
