At Winthrop we believe that good health goes hand in hand with learning. Simply put, healthy kids learn better. With that in mind, we strive to maintain an atmosphere in which kids feel comfortable coming to us when they do not feel well. There are no needles and, whenever possible, no "ouchies." The nurse's office should not be a scary place.

Communication is important to us. No one knows your kid as well as you do. We frequently consult with parents to find solutions to school health concerns. We encourage you to contact us with any questions, comments, or suggestions.
