Ice Castles

By

Jeanne Armonk

How the ice castles do look all aglow,

Reflecting the sun's rays on icy snow.

That covers their snowy sides, block by block.

Brilliance like a diamond, like icy rock.

I look out to gaze at a nearby tree,

With icicles falling, the birds do flee.

This winter wonderland will soon be gone,

As the ice castles melt into the lawn.
