About Central Wilkes Band Boosters
Central Wilkes Band Boosters, Inc. is a 501- (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to improving music education and band students' experience at Wilkes Central High School and Central Wilkes Middle School.
If you are a parent or guardian of a member in Central Wilkes Middle or Wilkes Central High school band, YOU are a Band Booster! Your student's enrollment in band makes you a member.
Alumni and Special Friends of the band are also invited to become Boosters! The Central Band Boosters have a modest annual membership fee of $10 for those not currently enrolled with the band program.
We appreciate your support and participation!
BOOSTER MEETINGS
Each month, boosters are encouraged to participate in a multi-school booster meeting. First timers are especially urged to attend the meetings in order to become more familiar with how the band programs work. We meet on the 2nd Monday of each month to avoid conflict with WCS School Board meetings. Check the Band Calendar for times/dates and locations. The "booster website" is also an excellent way to catch up on meeting notes/agendas.

Band booster officers are elected in each year and serve a one-year term. This year's officers were elected at the band booster meeting August 8, 2022.

You can get involved by attending a band boosters meeting. Meetings are typically held the first Monday of the month at 6:30 in the WCHS band room (or online via Zoom).

Attend a band booster meeting (see calendar).
Help with a committee (social events, fundraising, travel).
Drive equipment, buses, trucks.
Join the REMIND group for updates (Text @wilkescen to 81010).
Visit our SignUpGenius for events (Band Camp, JV football concessions, feed the band, and more).
Join the Conductor's Circle.
Donate supplies and materials for students (such as snacks, drinks, paper, etc.).
Help our students fund raise.
