The Band Booster organization will be selling Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Late-night meals/concessions to the campers at the water treatment facility during Merlefest! This is our BIGGEST fundraiser and therefore needs to be carefully planned and executed. Visit the link above to sign up for some shifts. We will need 12 volunteers per shift, so feel free to take more than 1.
**NOTE** Friday, September 17 is a Homecoming football game. Parents with upper-classmen students in the game or marching band should not be the ones signed up during that game, go watch your kid celebrate Homecoming!
Therefore: it will be most important that we have underclassmen, and middle school volunteers scheduled for Friday the 17 in order to fill in that gap.
We will occasionally need parents to come along on trips to away games, reward trips, and competitions. If you would like to travel with the band, supervise students, and gain some free admission to band events, then consider signing up to be a Chaperone.
Complete WCS Initial Screening and Communicable Disease Waiver. (see right). Turn this in to Mr. Bruce.
Go to Wilkes County School's Volunteer Website and complete the registration process for Level 2 Volunteer status.
Once approved, check out this page, or our calendar for events you want to volunteer for.
