Connor, my oldest son, won the high point award for 15 and over boys at the Bulldog Aquatics Club's annual Winter Invitational which was held on the campus of Louisiana Tech University on January 27-29, 2017. He placed first in the 500 yard free (5:01.72) and 200 yard backstroke (). He placed 2nd in the 1650 yard freestyle (17:30.95), 200 yard freestyle (1:50.92). He placed 3rd in the 200 yard butterfly (2:08.05). He placed 12 in the 100 yard breaststroke (1:13.00). He swam the 200 breastroke (), 200 yard IM (), and the 100 yard butterfly ()
