Connor placed 1st in both the boys open 100 yard butterfly and the boys open 500 yard freestyle at the 2016 Red River High School Swimming Conference Championship, which was held on Saturday, November 5 at the Louisiana Tech University Natatorium in Ruston, LA. He swam the 100 yard butterfly in 55.85 seconds, and the 500 yard freestyle in 4:53.69 seconds.
