All members are encouraged to be an active part of a standing committee:
Clinics, Membership, Awards, Coaches Poll, Advisory, Website, Nominations, and Scholarships
Clinics: Meet on a monthly basis to help plan various aspects of the coaches clinic. Areas can include: securing guest speakers and topics, promotion of the clinic, calling for donations for the fundraiser raffle, creating the clinic booklet, planning for food or other specific clinic site arrangements, and discussing issues to present at the business meeting.
Membership: Actively seek new members to join the coaching association by contacting new coaches, promoting the association among colleagues, and assisting the clinic committee in processing payments.
Awards: Conduct nominations and voting for coach of the year, process nominations for Hall of Fame candidates, arrange for procurement of plaques, verify and post coaching milestone awards.
Coaches poll: Vote each Sunday on the top 10 teams in division I and division II. Interested coaches should be willing to actively look for results from around the state each week, vote consistently each week and make their name public as a voter.
Website: Help contribute to pages on the website such as: gathering coaching biographies, writing tennis articles, adding pictures, and other functions to maintain a current website.
Nominations: Responsible for gathering candidates and making recommendations to the board of directors for WHSTCA positions.
