The Extreme Conditions Laboratory at IES, Academia Sinica, is looking for highly motivated group members who are interested in experimentally exploring:

(1) Mineral physics: thermal, electrical, and elastic properties of Earth materials under extreme pressure and temperature conditions, and related geodynamics in Earth and planetary interiors

(2) Condensed matter physics: ultrafast phonon dynamics, phase transition dynamics, and heat transport in nanoscale energy materials (e.g., 2D materials, topological materials, thermoelectric materials, etc.) under extreme conditions

Recruiting position title: postdoc researchers, full-time research assistants with MS degree, PhD/master students, and undergraduates. Candidates who are familiar with laser/optics, high pressure technique, and programming are highly preferred.
