Mid week sessions

River Lee

Explore the River Lea in Hertfordshire with paddles taking place in Hertford, Broxbourne and Stanstead Abbots. The River Lee near Hertford is an ideal starting point for day trips as well as a great coaching spot for developing moving water skills and coaching white water techniques.

River Cam

We regularly tow our boats up to The River Cam at Grantchester for paddles to see the Backs of Cambridge and Grantchester Meadows for a chance to paddle into the city of Cambridge.

River Stour away days and Mini breaks

as well as regular paddles we also run weekends away on the River Stour from Sudbury to Catterwade and the Rivers Ouse and Ivel in Bedfordshire, making great locations for weekends away with friends and families who regularly join us for tours on the river.

We offer boat hire to individuals and groups looking to paddle together with introductory coaching provided with each paddling session to ensure your safety.

Previous club trips have included

paddles on the River Dart and Paddle boarding to Cornwall

Paddling on the River Dart from Holme Bridge on the Loop and Walkern .

Accommodation at Princetown Surfing and SUP with Camping at Cornwall.

After a busy white water trip we are looking to run some Sunday paddling sessions to the River Nene and then develop some paddling skills or either the Tryweryn or at Lea Valley this year.

May Half term expedition to Ardeche to explore the rivers of the Tarn and Ardeche

We are planning on heading up to Scotland for a tour of the River Spey and the Scottish Rivers

Each year we organise a coaching weekend and have worked alongside some of Britain's most experienced paddle sport coaches, including Ray Goodwin and Dave Rossiter as part of our training in Wales

Autumn

Our Autumn trips for 2020 are a trip to White water at Northampton to take part in moving water training and a paddle on River Nene, a weekend trip to North Wales for beginners white water and a flat water tour of the River Stour.

The club is located on a stretch of river that has two pubs and several Cafes nearby offering lots of opportunities to have a break or set a challenge to paddle to.
