Welcome to Whoosh Explore Canoe Club

We are a friendly canoe club which offers Paddle Adventures on the River Stort as well as Whitewater trips and morning Taster sessions.

Our canoes and kayaks are great for learning in, based at peaceful private riverside location with great river access , our trips are ideal for beginners through to experts.

We run Weekend and Mid week paddling trips available.

Learn at your own pace with support from qualified coaches and volunteers to help you develop paddling skills

The River Stort is a great place to start a paddling adventure, offering miles of paddling along unspoilt countryside as well great riverside pubs, maltings and mills to explore by boat. The River Stort is a navigation with locks and canal boats, backwaters and weirs to explore.

Our boats are the best available for learning in and can be supplied with a range of equipment from dry bags and spray decks, ready for your paddling adventure .

We run paddling sessions 9.30am to 12pm on Saturdays

We also have members paddles on Sundays and some evening paddles from 6.30pm during the summer months

Paddle on the river on our guided taster paddles, or head off on your own paddling adventure day on a self guided paddle.

Coaching Sessions

One to one and group coaching available to book on Eola.co.

We offer training from beginner to moving water techniques in open boats and kayaks.

We have sessions suitable for Adults, families and children to get you paddling with confidence.

Joining the club.

Paddle 3 times with the club before applying for membership. We encourage all paddlers join British Canoeing.

On joining the club we offer members discounts on our river paddling trips.

We sign up all paddlers for Whoosh Explore membership after your third paddling session.
