Neuilly is also called Neuilly-sur-Seine and is a wealthy, exclusively residential suburb of Paris. It is located in the West of the capital and North of Bois de Boulogne. Neuilly’s department is the Hauts-de-Seine and it lies in the Île-de-France région. The population of the suburb is around 61,100 (2004). Through the Avenue de Charles de Gaulle you can get to Neuilly and it is connected with the Avenue de Champs Elysées and the Avenue de la Grande Armée. The Pont de Neuilly is a famous architectural monument from the 18th century. It has been rebuilt from 1935 to 1940 and has been widened to 35m (115 feet).
