WFBL TOP 50 PROSPECTS: AUGUST 2026

As always, these rankings are not subjective. They are based on a formula developed from the most recent MLB top prospect rankings as presented by respected industry resources. Here are their individual list links: MLB Pipeline, Baseball America, The Athletic, and Fangraphs (replacing ESPN, who have not updated their own overall prospect list).

Each player is listed at their anticipated MLB position. In parentheses are where they were listed in our February 2026 rankings. NR means they were Not Ranked last time around.

There are 27 newcomers to the rankings, a reflection on the MLB Draft picks and a strong group of prospects promoted during the season. The highestranked newcomer is pitcher Ryan Sloan of Horsham at 7 overall.

The biggest risers from last time around include Franklin Arias of Vancouver, up from 30 all the way to number two on the list. Pitchers Kade Anderson of Montreal and Seth Hernandez of Eugene went from 20 and 44 respectively up to the 4-5 slots. And shotstop Eli Willits of Spokane lept up from 31 to the number six ranking.

The WFBL rankings will be updated once again at some point in early 2027.
