Graduate Writing Tutors respond to eQuestions and graduate-level papers in the Writing Lab. They do not work with students in Zoom.
Minimum Qualifications: Graduate Writing Tutors must have a bachelor's degree. They also need to have completed some graduate-level coursework (master's-level/Course number 500 and up in most states, 5000 and up in CA)

To complete your training:
1. Download, read, and complete the exercises Graduate Writing Tutor Manual below.
2. Take the Graduate Writing Quiz (see left sidebar).
3. In an email to sbergfeld@sbctc.edu, include:
A: Your response to the sample student paper (below). Please include the opening letter, embedded comments, (with the student's text) and next steps list in a SINGLE word document (.doc or .docx).
B. A sample of your writing from graduate-level courses
4. When the WeTC director has received your materials, she'll contact you about your eTutoring account and scheduling.
