Bernoulli Principle - Annette Villanueva-Lopez
The Bernoulli Effect was invented by Daniel Bernoulli was a Swiss physician , doctor , and mathematician he applied math to mechanics in physics to do a discovery. The Bernoulli theorem is the foundation of many engineering applications, such as aircraft wing design. In 1720 Bernoulli developed the theory of watermills, windmills, water propellers. He was the first to distinguish between hydrodynamic pressure. He is one of the earliest writers who made an attempt to devise the kinetic theory of gases and used the idea to explain Boyle s Law. He also worked on elasticity with his close friend Leonhard Euler and helped his friend with the development of the Euler-Bernoulli beam equation. Bernoulli principle is of significant use in aerodynamics. In my project i am using a hair dryer and 2 beach balls or light weight balls. The project is to see how the hairdryer can control these 2 balls , combing movement of the hairdryer at different angles. The question is how does a hairdryer control to light weight balls in the air
The Bernoulli Effect underlies the principle of aero foil by encouraging the flow of over the top surface. The Effect can also be demonstrated by holding up a hair dryer and a ping pong ball and seeing the effect of movement it makes or using the Frog Whistle ( Shown in the picture).
