Tim Berners-Lee is the founder of the original world wide web and is director of the World Wide Web Consortium, the coordinating body for Web development and occupies the 3Cm Founders chair at the MIT Laboratory for Computer Science. His book entitled Weaving the Web - the Original Design of the World Wide Web, describes how and why he 'cooked up' the web. On the first page of this book, which is pictured below, he describes how the concept came to him as a child in his father's library when he saw the book there entitled: Enquire within Upon Everything.
