Web Client

What is it?

A suite of API which manages the interface between the user and the Jxs engine

It is centred around these standard and custom web technologies which includes :

• Asynchronous tables

  • Custom JavaScript table framework which enables entry updates in a asynchronous manner. See Asynchronous tables for more details.

• Web sockets

  • Used to integrate with JXS primary messaging interface

• REST

  • Used to integrate with JXS primary messaging interface

• CometD

  • Reverse Ajax framework used to integrate with JXS primary messaging interface

• JQuery and RequireJs

  • The main JS framework used in the development of client applications
