OK, you can take a photo with your Android device and send it via your free ICOM 5100 Android revised software over Bluetooth to your 5100 and send over DSTAR.
The problem you may have, no one locally has a 5100. We have come up with a solution. Send your photos over DSTAR Reflector 030D to everyone on 030D that is listening and has a 5100. You can also send “messages” this way. We tried that also.
NOW, we need a net time. We did this last Saturday and Sunday. Lots of fun and photos. We will do it again this Saturday at 8PM E, on REF030D and again on Sunday at 6PM E (2200 Z), hosted by KQ4KK. If it continues to work well, and we have a good turnout, we could add weekdays.
Let’s try it again this Saturday.
