I want to celebrate Barb Seaman! In addition to effectively managing the high school library, Barb has fostered a welcoming space where students feel safe and supported. She is highly collaborative and resourceful, always looking for ways to enhance student experiences. Barb goes above and beyond by seeking support for our students in a variety of ways, including bringing in community members to work one-on-one with them. Barb has created a library where students go to put books on hold! That is how much reading is happening. The Community-School mentoring program has now spread to Gause and Barb is the highlight of my day when I get to see her in the hall or the library! You rock, Barb!
